Congrats to the listeners to the show. Not one person was willing to bet me a lunch that the Bucks would not make the playoffs. The negativity no longer rules. Everyone sees that this Bucks team is different. Now enjoy.
I'm not so stupid as to think that fans are smarter than the Packers. But they were this time. Everyone said the Aaron Kampman in the 3-4 wouldn't work. The Packers said otherwise. They were wrong. They should have traded him after they got Dom Capers as defensive coordinator.
Wisconsin with inside strength can dream of a Final 4. Marquette could do Sweet 16 with the right matchup.
Jack Nicklaus says Tiger will play in the Masters. Of course, he's going to play in the Masters. Is it really necessary to ask the question-What's more imporant, his marriage or his majors?- He answered that question with his behavior over the past few years.
Sorry. I forgot to blog yesterday. I promise to blog every morning (M-F) by 9am Milwaukee time. If I don't, I will give a copy of the Bob McGinn Super Bowl book to the first person who e-mail's me at homer@espnwisconsin.com. By the way, I'm working on the numbers to find out how much Marquette and Buzz Williams produce the same stats as Wisconsin and Bo Ryan.
I really believed that the US beating Canada twice on their home turf would have been close to the win in 1980. I can't sell it anymore. This was NHL playoff hockey. It's always tight and home ice doesn't make that big a difference. It's really that simple, even though under the Olympic flag. It probably saved Canada. A loss and the entire country would have needed therapy thus inducing the financial collapse of the country.
