GREEN BAY – If you made plans to attend the Green Bay Packers’ training camp practices next week, you’re going to have to adjust.
The team announced Sunday afternoon that three practices – on Sunday, Aug. 12; Monday, Aug. 13; and Tuesday, Aug. 14 – will now kick off at 11:15 a.m. The Aug. 12 and 13 practices had been scheduled to be the final nighttime practices of training camp; the Aug. 14 practice had been previously slated for 3:30 p.m.
It marks the second straight year that coach Mike McCarthy has pulled the plug early on nighttime practices. Last year, he moved a handful of nighttime practices up as well.
The move means that after Sunday night’s practice, the Packers will have only two more nighttime practices: On Monday, and next Saturday, Aug. 11.
