GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers have reached the “good problem to have” stage in their season when it comes to the injury report: Much like last week, they very well could have healthy players scratched from the lineup because they don’t have any major injury issues deciding their 46-man active game-day roster for them.
Here’s a look at the official injury report for both teams from Friday:
Running back James Starks, for instance, isn’t even on the injury report any more, but he may not be active. House said Friday he’s ready to play, but with the other cornerbacks on the roster playing well, he’s likely to sit again.
“Those decisions will be made after we meet (Friday afternoon),” McCarthy said after practice. “I really don’t want to get into who’s up and who’s not. James is getting close. I thought he practiced well this week.”
The only injured player who might be a question mark is Pickett, but the veteran defensive tackle said he expects to play.
“He practiced today, and I’ll talk to Ryan,” McCarthy said. “(I will) probably wait until tomorrow to see where he is.”
