GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers got some much-needed help at cornerback Monday, and although his name likely won’t ring a bell with many fans, ex-Denver Broncos cornerback Josh Bell may very well be able to help the team Thursday at Detroit.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Bell entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Baylor with the San Diego Chargers last season but was cut at the end of training camp. The Broncos added him to their practice squad, then promoted him to the 53-man roster after All-Pro cornerback Champ Bailey was injured.
The Packers figure to use the same group of cornerbacks Thursday against the Lions as they did after losing two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Al Harris to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee with 10:49 left in their 30-24 victory over
Meanwhile, practice-squad linebacker Cyril Obiozor is likely to take the place of linebacker Aaron Kampman, who like Harris suffered a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee.

How is Obiozer looking. I know he was a Coach Greene's project. Has he improved in practice and what do you expect of him on the field?

Get this Josh Bell guy up to speed quickly, so by the Baltimore game we hopefully won't have to see #24 on the field except for Special Teams.
#24 does not belong on an NFL
