On Air: The D-List Mon-Fri 9:00am-Noon
Hometown:
I was born in Milwaukee but raised in Waukesha and live in Oak Creek, but I would call Waukesha my hometown.
College:
I graduated from Waukesha Catholic Memorial in 1981 and earned a B.S. degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh in 1985.
What is your favorite sport, and why?
Football is probably my favorite sport, because I played it; enjoy the drama and violence of it, and still have the urge to tackle somebody! However, when it comes to sports I now participate in, golf would be my favorite.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Brett Favre and I am not ashamed to say that I am a Brett Favre apologist! I've had the opportunity to cover his entire career in Green Bay, and done a number of sit-down interviews with both he and his wife (and other family members), and I really respect what he has done for the Packers and Wisconsin sports. However, growing up, Gorman Thomas was my favorite athlete, with Robin Yount, John Brockington and Sidney Moncrief close behind.
Favorite team?
Any in Wisconsin...my least favorite teams are any from Chicago, along with the Minnesota Vikings!
Any advice you would give to listeners:
Do as I say, not as I do, because I am the modern incarnate of Oscar Madison, fused with Ron Burgandy!
